Tokyo-based researcher Jan Lindenberg introduces this roof garden constructed from beer crates and polystyrene boxes. Simple, affordable and effective, this garden transfers the principles of the Tokyo curbside garden a few meters skyward.
This is another example of a garden which is temporary in form but very definitely permanent in presence – signalling the attachment of the resident to the property.
Materials: Beer Crates, Polystyrene Boxes
Location: Shiba/Mita, Tokyo
