Extra gardening space (and privacy) created with a row of pots on top of a dividing wall in an old West Tokyo apartment block.

Wire twisted around trellis at one end is threaded through the pots to create an intergrated, secure whole. This is a common technique to increase usable garden space – e.g. [1], [2]
