I was amazed at the growth of a friend’s first attempt at a green curtain – from seeds to this lush and delicious canopy in only 1.5 months.

After seeing green curtains featured on a couple of childrens’ television shows, they decided to plant goya (bitter melon) and cucumber, using a cheap net secured to their carport with string. As the pictures show, goya is running the show, with cucumber relegated to minor status….they plan to plant the two a bit further apart next summer.
