I like that rather than trim or kill this errant plant, the owner of the residence has opted to tie it to the fence to reduce impact on passing pedestrians/cyclists…..
A mix of respect for plant life and hassle involved with disposing of plant cuttings? In places dominated by factories, gravel parking lots, and half-paved roads (see last image (left) for google maps streetview from residence) every little bit of life takes on more significance. Perhaps, though, it is just easier and cheaper to leave it there than ‘waste’ a plastic rubbish bag on throwing it out…..
